I have a "like new" TI-83 plus in translucent blue, with data cabe (and if I look hard enough) maybe the manual. New price for the 84P is up around the $179 mark (DSE). Make me an offer and we'll see how we go.

Hmmm...Not really sure what the difference is between these 2 units.I would really prefer the TI-84Pl as required by the school to avoid any issues..Thanks anyway Newton.

stick the school, as they are similar enough in functions to be the same model, from what i've seen, being in year 10 this year.

Just finished Gr12. A 83 would easily do anything. The 84 is just a fancified version. Everything is exactly the same, just more memory in the 84 (and i daresay the school wont be into calculator customization). All 83 ups work on the 84 and vice versa.

It can do matrices, derivated and integrals, graphs, everything the 84 can do.

Most of that is maths B, and maths c, so an TI-83 will eat gr10 for breakfast.
