PSP no power

My younger brother has dropped his psp and now it wont power on.
We tried taking the battery out and plugging it into the mains power but no luck.
Is there a way to troubleshoot these things?

mate , do a search in this forum about the same problem . There are a few things to look for , (I think I posted diagrams and all , but cannot remember)
but I would guess the fuse , you need to take apart and all the normal jazz

You sure the switch isn't broken? Is it loose? I remember that happened to a friend of mines. I just switched the switch with a new one and it worked fine.
