I have a lite on drive, can somebody tell me how much it will cost to flash it. Excuse my ignorance as I am not much of a technology buff.

although they have released the firmware. it would still be cheaper to get it flashed then do it yourself if you only have 1 to do as you need the connectivity kit and probe.

I bought a xbox360 from jbhifi today, had the liteon drive in it..

In the Adelaide Advertiser, i rang the 3 places doing xbox mods.. only one of them was able to do the liteon flash, the others wanted to continue charging $150+ and replace with samsung drives.. needless to say, I went with the $65 liteon flash from adelaide360mods.com (their website) and have taken it home, it so far is running flawlessly. Played MK vs DC and SC4 without any issues so far

So glad they finally hacked the liteon

So its not just a simple matter of hooking it up to a PC like the Samsung and Benq drives?

If you can get a hold of one of the CK3 kits it is pretty easy with jungleflasher. You don't need specific sata chipset PCI cards anymore either - A lot of onboard chipsets are compatible. I have flashed around 5 drives now with my onboard ICH9 intel chipset on a GA-P35-DS3L using jungleflasher and have never had an issue.

Samsungs and BenQs are a piece of cake - literally about 7 clicks and it is done.

    I would recommend either or
