Flashing A Xbox360 With LiteOn Drive

hey guys
been doing a bit of reading tonight, im picking up a xbox soon and would like to do the mod myself. Its not a question of money, but more about me learning how it works.

I have looked around a bit and without purchasing the executer kit this;



Looks like the best way to do it,

What do you guys think?

Basically this is the jist of it i have gotten so far, basically you read a key from the firmware of the current drive and then patch it into the iextreme firmware then you load that onto the drive.


Im just after some opinions before i start on this little project

Your biggest concern is going to be the sata connection in your PC, there are only a few that work reliably.

Also don't waste your money on getting the "probes" all you need to do is bridge the points with a screwdriver.
