Backdate Wii firmware

I have the 3.4E firmware on the wii and I would like to backdate it to install homebrew channel, Is it possible? and how do I do it if it is?
Or should I wait till beta 9 comes out?

yes its possible. However the homebrew channel will install on 3.4 firmware. However if you want to use the softmod to play backups i think you will need to downgrade anyway.

Check out this guide as it is what i used to downgrade from 3.4 to 3.2.

I dont have the Zelda game so Im in a bit of a pickle in what I can do...

You don't need to downgrade to play backups on 3.4..just follow this simply guide.....
