xbox 1 help died

My kids xbox just stopped working.
It is chipped and has 200g hdd.
When you start it it comes up with the evox in the corner and the xbox logo then stops wont load any more, I have used aid 2.1 i think.
Ideas?

Does it give any error number on the screen or does it just hang there with the evox logo in the corner?

So you have a slayers disk handy, if so try and boot off it and see what it does.

just hangs with the evo logo. I do not still have the disk but could download a new copy. I am thinking the hdd may have died? would this be true?

That is always a possibility. I would get a copy of slayers and see if the box boots of it.

This happen to me last night .. I rebooted xbox 3 x ..nothing just froze same spot ... then I remeber my son saying he tryed game and didn't work ... so thought he left it in dvd drive .. and sure enough it was .. soon as I removed and rebooted .. all sweet ! ... check ya drive m8 ..see if there dvd in there

reinstalled slayers 2.7 works fine, lost all data on there but got it going again, thanks guys.
