Current iGo version and map version ?

Can anyone tell me what the current version of iGo is and what the current map version is please ? I use Tomtom but also have it installed and it is probably in need of an update.

there is completely new version of igo out (8.3xxxxx), but no aussie maps yet......

cracked euro maps are starting to appear...

These maps do not load....

"cannot open the available map file with your licence" .....

Any ideas?

try here.....

replace the file in the licence folder with this one.

and replace your executable with the one you downloaded if you are not using a cracked one already.

Thanks tried this but no luck... File is the same as the one on the SD card.
Not sure about executable...

I also reinstalled with the R14 igo8ausdata.zip and after a long wait at first boot with INITIALIZING WARNING DATA it crashes with a fatal error.

I will try again with the earlier release R14 maps....

Its been more than 3 months since igo8.3 release, it looks like Australia has been ignored because of the small market. The big companies dont want to invest to release new maps I suppose. Anyways we will wait for some genius to crack 8.3 with the R15 map. Cheers!!

Do you keep the default/base map in the map folder or overwrite the entire folder so you just have the aus map file?

if not you will need to replace your current one with the one you downloaded.

Im going to delete and start again - rollback to the original R14 maps and then upgrade the maps one at a time.....

One thing that is not clear is that when you copy the maps onto the SD card do you overwrite or just add the files so the map folder includes just the one map file for oz or includes the original base map also?
