    Lads,

The nokia phone is not really unlocked, it only BY-PASSES the SIM checking & lets the nokia phone work on any SIM card.

so you need to have that xsim + your sim installed on your phone you cannot unlock multiple phone with it as the xsim need to be paired with your original sim as soon as you pull the xsim out your card does not work.

    For example, 6233, N73, 3120C, 6120, N80, 8600, 6110N, 7373, N76, 5300, N70, N80, N95, N95-8G, E65, 6708, 6500S, 6300, 6131,etc..

here is the mob that designed it

    Here is there resellers

Still an expensive solution atm will get cheaper as they get cloned soon

That's my opinion - but like i said won't belong before there cloned and Sold @ fraction of the cost. and thats reality weather you like it or not. We still don't even know how it affects the battery life yet.

anyways this discussing should be held in the mobile secton. as its become more of debateable thread than a selling thread.

yep i got mine with vodafone and cost me $25 to unlock it from their online website. They have only just now started charging last year as long as you got the phone through them it cost you nothing to unlock it.

The x-sim only acts as a clone it does not actually unlock it and if you decided to sell the phone you would have issues unless you sold them the x-sim as well as the phone would still be locked to the provider you purchased it from.

    Unlocking your handset

Vodafone can only unlock phones purchased from a Vodafone outlet in Australia.

Your handset may be locked to the Vodafone Australia network. If you wish to use your mobile on other networks, Vodafone will supply your handset unlock code. There may be a charge associated with unlocking your handset.

There are two ways of obtaining your unlock instructions both require you to have a credit card to make the payment. Accepted cards are Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Diners.

    1. Using Vodafone's website at vodafone.com.au/unlock.
    2. Contacting the Customer care on 1555 (free from Vodafone Mobile) or dialling 1300650410.

The unlock fee is structured as follows:

    *
A basic fee of $50 to unlock the handset at any time, reduced to $25 if you obtain your unlock code using Vodafone's website at vodafone.com.au/unlock.

mate one thing i do not do is lie or try rort people

what you are trying to sell as UNLOCK is not UNLOCK and for the same price they can ring their provider and have it really unlocked as they are all roughly $80
