I go the safe 98 for radio programming, not really consistent between software for me with xp.
I am taking bets as for the winner of the OS poll.

I didn't think that Windows 3.1 had quite that many, but I could be wrong. I just had a rat through a cupboard here, but the closest that I could find was Windows 3.0; 5 x 1.2MB 5¼" floppies. I did find a manual for 3.1, though. The same cupboard also has DOS 3.2, DOS 5.0 and some apps from that era, such as XTree Gold, GW-BASIC and Reflection. And in another cupboard there's DOS 6.22.
We once had access to a pre-release of Windows 95 (I think it was), which came on a pile (literally) of 3½" discs.
EDIT: I was into Linux for a while, but nowadays I tend to boot into XP, so that's what I voted for.

XTree gold, that was a BLOODY good app.
Maybe 95 was what I was thinking of, but then that may have been 31 floppies, can't remember.
Xp well and truly ahead, thought there would have been more vista, early days.

Vista Ultimate
Vista Business
Vista Ultimate
Vista is great now the service packs are out and its far more stable than XP was at the same time. There was no reason to stay with XP on any of mine in the end , out with the old and in with the new.
Dual boot XP SP3 x86 and Vista Ultimate x64. I use Vista most of the time so I voted for Vista.
I use windows Xp Sp3. and i find it good to use. Thanks
