    Default R4 Firmware

    Hi guys, My oldest brat has got an older R4, which is not playing some of the newer games. (It has v1.18 on it now) I have read that I may need to get a custom firmware. Can anyone confirm this or steer me in the right direction?

    v1.19u (u for unofficial) based on YMENU

    plus there is the DSTT/EDGE based R4 firmware kicking around based on the 1.16 DSTT files

    Hi ,version 1.18 was the last official firmware for the original R4, try arm 7 file swap ! google is your friend It should fix your problem
