Default Dreambox and Sydney Fox Cable parameters

Trying to set up Dreambox DM800c with DVB/C tuner on Fox Cable in Sydney.

Does anyone have the parameters for manual setup. or a copy of the Australian cable.xml file.

    Thanks

Not sure if this helps, on my DM500C:

Setup > Satellites and Transponders > Manual transponder

    Frequency 666 MHz
    Inv: ticked
    Modulation: 64
    FEC: Auto
    Symbol Rate: 6950
    Tick Use BAT
    Tick Network search

    should do the trick

I have a DM800 I can throw a cable tuner in if you need anything further.

Your settings look ok, you might need to check the tuner settings as well. They work ok on my DM800

This is what I've set for my DVB-C tuner, not sure what settings you'll have on your Philips tuner

    Hey Guys,

sorry to beg on my first post but i have just bought an dm800hdc clone from china and have got as far as this, scanning the channels finds everything - fta comes through ok. I have entered the boxkey (used the calc method and cross ref'd with a boxkey generator) . I put in the orange fruity but...... no joy . When card is in the ND icon turns green on sub'd channels but the I stays orange ....ND stays orange when card is not in....does this mean anything? Does any one know of a good guide for dm800 that i can read more on ......cheers for any help (and also for the help so far from the posts i've read)

I think only blue cards work in 3rd party boxes now, no go on orange for a couple of weeks now.

Yes. Foxtel have been twiddling with NDS, its open to debate as to how much longer even the Bluey's (Of which I have) will last.

They are only working because apparently, Foxtel encountered incompatibilities with their changes to NDS, and older decoder boxes. Orange and Fruity cards did not exhibit any problems as they are mostly used in IQ and IQ2 boxes, and thus no longer work.

    We shall see.
