    Default Appaloosa

Well its a been long time since I've seen a thinking persons western,

Ed Harris makes his directorial debut as well as the main role along with
Vigo Mortenson who once again shows just how versatile he can be with different roles and Jeremy Irons as always, whatever he role he chooses plays them masterfully.

Along with Renee Zelweeger, all have been cast perfectly for the roles.

Ed Harris as director, has been able to create some beautiful cinematography in his first outing as director....

all up I gave this 8.5 out of 10.

Totally agree...great movie. It's been quite a while since I've seen a decent new western.
Open Range and 3.10 to Yuma [remake] weren't too bad but this one is better in my opinion.
Dean Semler [Dances With Wolves etc etc] is the Director Of Photography.

Yep great movie... even though I had to put up with Renee Zellweger... her squinty eyes are horrible.
