Default Can I record an analogue channels with a PVR??

So I just bought a Legend Twin Tuner PVR(still waiting for it to arrive) and was wondering if i'll be able to receive and record analogue channels?

I'm currently on holidays in a regional area where digital Tv isn't available. I'd like to record some shows from the analogue channels before i head back to the city with it.

This is the model if that helps:

If it only has digital tuners (which I think is the case) it won't receive analogue.

generally NO, they tend to record only digital FTA channels.

A DVD/HDD recorder would have been a better option as they tend to have a VIDEO/AUDIO IN line.

see the VCR Scart (4) on the install sheet?? it states that this is a 'Fully Featured' Scart which I read to mean is both IN and OUT, with an inbuilt HDD (upgradedable to 250mb, if I read correctly), why would you want to record to a VCR ???
Now maybe with a VCR attatched, analog tuner, you maybe able to record to the PVR from the VCR.
There are only 74 pages in the handbook, have fun !!!!

Haha that could work, might give it a shot.
That reminds me of when DVd players started coming out and no one had tvs with av inputs so they had to plug though the VCR to watch dvds.

Been there and done that but it didnt work too often as there was some sort of copy protection that stuffed up the video passing thru the VCR.
Hard to realise that not too long ago few TV's had AV or component inputs whereas today you need about a dozen.
