What program did you use for all the "design work"?
What do you mean by design work? Individual elements, or whole page layouts?
I am gonna assume you are pretty good at photoshop so someone asked you to do a catalogue for them, so you did it in photoshop page by page and saved each page as one .psd file.
Is that right?
Who is going to be printing the job? Ask them if they will collate all the 'pages' for you, might save you a bit of time.
Otherwise if you want desktop publishing software, and are familiar with photoshop (which I am assuming you are) try adobe InDesign
InDesign.
Quark Express.
Acrobat can also combine pdfs, you would have to make each pdf first.
These programs are professional "design" programs, use in every advertising agency and print shop in the world. They are used for both design, layout and pagination. If you don't know how to properly use at least two of the above programs you should not call yourself a designer.
If Photoshop is all you know, then forget it.

my advice
my advice to really knock their socks off would be to:
1. print the design work (in whatever program you created it in) using PDFcreator to create a PDF.
2. publish the PDF online to issuu.com to create an online flippable book similar to:
3. register a domain name for $15 and embed the document into it.
easy and effective.
