Wots an E1 box when it's at home, and it's relavance to us down south?

e1 = enigma1 or DM 500, 56x0, 500+, 600, 7000, 7020 boxes

Enigma 1 and 2 are image types - generally the following is true (although there are exceptions)

e1 = 500, 500+, 5620, 600, 7000 and 7020
e2 = 7025,800 and 8000

then in the e1 you have tuxbox and Open embedded

tux = 500,5620 and 7000
oe =600, 7020

I guess the E2 boxes are OE is well - but I dont have any of them
