Question Wii Brick Blocker and installing IOS

I've decided to start a new thread on this instead of taking another thread ( ) in which it started to be discussed in a different direction from it's original post.

    Someone mentioned that

    you may have to install
    ios38
    ios55
    ios53

    i know animal crossing
and nfs undercover need the ios installed
in relation to using Wii Brick Blocker. Anyone able to inform me more about installing these ISO's and when you need to?

BTW - anyone else had issues burning an ISO after using Brick Blocker on it? It causes Nero to not get over 1% for me. Tried again, same deal. Tried another DVD-RW Drive and it got a lot further, but still got an error:

Would it be the Brick Blocker causing this? The same DVD-RW drive and ISO (prior to the Brick Blocker being run on it) were working fine together before!

Having same issue with Img Burn. I think the ISO must be damaged after running Brick Blocker over it. I've discovered now that Starfall does a perfect job at blocking the game from checking for an update so no need for me to use Brick Blocker now anyway!

you only need to install those ios if you dont want to update

The only reason to not update past 3.2 atm is that trunha signed disks will no longer work. (SSBB DVD5)

to install these ios you need to install the homenbrew channell which you oibviouly have to install starfall

You need to d/l the wads

and install them through wad manager

    can be found here

This should help with games like animal crossing and nfs undercover

I found that 3.4 stopped some of my games from playing which were playing fine when I had 3.2 or 3.3.
Another reason not to upgrade to 3.4 is the change in the user agreement which results in the Wii console being allowed to update itself automatically without your consent.
I definitely wouldn't upgrade to 3.4 ATM. 3.3 is probably fine, but 3.2 is considered the safest.
