speed is critical.
I have a phoenix external serial on a 7000 running cccam
when I put my aurora card in - light blinks a bit then starts working (pics OK)
when I put the f0xte1 card in - no blink no nothing - card not detect
both cards work and show pics in the internal slot
I was thinking cccam setup most be ok because one card work in the phoenix
could it be physical rather than logical problem - like the f0xte1 card is not detected by hardware because its not hitting the card detect part of hardware ?

thanks z80
config file timing changes make no difference
switch on phoenix did the trick - must be timing
one way reads aurora - other way reads f0xte1
cheers
You would have to have both the freq in your config file matching the freq you have your reader set to. Also I would of thought your aurora card would work at the same freq as your other card.

try adding a fake boxkey line and see what happens
BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00

How does a fake boxkey entry help?
Leroy
yep had the boxkey line in
Code:BOXKEY: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00
me too - found no difference regardless of cccam.cfg frequency settings - one card works with switch one way - other card works when switch is other wayOriginally Posted by LeroyPatrol;
even with no start of cccam or full restart
another play will have to happen when nobody here is gonna complain about stops and starts on viewing - back of the clock is good I guess
