    Default C or CS mount

    Is there a way of telling if a camera is c or cs mount lens just by looking at it ?

    depends how close you would be looking at it.

    There's a 5mm difference between C and CS, modern cameras use CS and are 12mm from the image sensor when fitted, where as C is 17mm from the image sensor. Looking at two different lenses the one with the longer threaded end would be the C mount lens.
