    ive had this prob with certain sata ports. change the port your flashing from and give it another shot. flash it twice if u have to. and give it a whirl

    The one, got the drive today was able to extract the key in jungleflasher but that was far as I got there so dropped down to dos using dosflash was able to erase and write the new firmware so all is good, tried it using my key in my 360 and yeah read no probs well it was now have open tray error so it appears to have a dead laser in it as I replaced the laser from a working 360 and that has fixed the problem
