I'm visiting New Zealand soon and would like to try out the NZ maps.
Any ideas where I can get a copy of the maps?
Thanks
Don

Ian,
Thanks for your advice but when I try to unpack the downloaded file (Mycar1.rar) I get an error message "....Does not appear to be a valid file or archive"
I have downloaded the file twice with the same result.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Don
Sorry Don. I forgot that the rar archive requires a password (ppcwarez) to extract the files. I downloaded it and once the password is entered the files extract correctly.

Many thanks, Ian.
I should have realised it was the paaaword but neither of the 2 file managers I use catered for entry of a password - I shall have to ditch them!

Thanks Jards88, worked well!

preferreably somewhere else, not to "uploaded.to" ?
The problem is that the link appears in uploaded.to, but when I press the "Download" button, it opens another window with some sql error message, and brings me to the home page in the original window, without downloading anything.
works fine
Thanks for replying.
Probably something was changed/fixed since I wrote my message. The link now downloads, but there are still 2 problems:
First, It only downloads 64KB, the file size of Mycar1.rar, according to what is written on the page in "uploaded.to", should be 26MB, but what downloads is only 64KB.
Second, The Mycar1.rar file doesn't contain a map file, it only contain on .3dl file named \NZ_R4\BUILDING\NewZealand.3dl . From the original post I understand that the link should contain the map too, but it doesn't .
Thanks in advance .
I just tried it again myself and it downloaded a full 26 MB. Are you trying to use a download manager? If so you probably should disable it as some free download sites won't allow them.

Probably there was some problem with the web site before .
To Jards88 - It wasn't because I used a download manager, I didn't use previously a download manager - I used Firefox and Internet Explorer .
