NewCS + CCcam 2.0.5 and SPA channel

Hi all

I have a problem using NewCS and CCcam 2.0.5 and the SPA channel (Sports Active).

I am not getting video on SPA (audio only) when using CCcam 2.0.5. All other SP (B,H,M,W) channels are fine. I changed to Evocamd 2.17 and the video appears on the SPA channel. I know of others who are experiencing problems with the SPA channels and CCcam.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem and does anyone have a solution. I would like continue to use CCcam.

yeah it seems spa doesnt not work correctly with CCcam, but it does with MGcamd and evocamd,

MGcamd worked great but does work with irideto 1

when i setup evocamd it was very pixelated but does work with irideto 1, was yours like that and if not any chance you can send me a copy of how you got it going and also your config files(without your server details of course)

Here's an update.

Running DM with CCcam 2.0.5 and NewCS 1.17, SPA no video for me. Apart from that, very very stable.

Go into blue panel and install Evocamd-complete and Evocamd-config. Telnet into DM and edit newcamd-client (server details) and camd_cfg. I think (from memory) I ONLY changed G: { 03 } to G: { 04 } in the default camd_cfg. Go into blue panel and start Evocamd (which stops CCcam of course). SPA now works. Now go back into blue panel and start CCcam (which stops Evocamd). SPA still works !! Go back into blue panel and uninstall Evocamd and Evocamd-config. SPA still works !! And is still working hours later.

BUT if you restart the DM, SPA stops working (audio only). Need to debug this to see what is really happening.

i have tried all cccams and the spa worked with all of them only issue is i still have the wrong video to sound.i will have to wait till the weekend so i can retry my mgcamd setup.

also note these tests were done on a system running neutrino and not gemini or other enigma based system

I have a shonky workaround for this problem.

Installed both CCcam and Evocamd. Enabled auto-camd. Set CCcam as the default camd. Added a channel (SPA channel) in auto-camd setup and pointed it to Evocamd.

So all channels use CCcam and CCcam starts by default on reboot. But if I select the SPA channel, CCcam stops, Evocamd starts and I have pics and audio on SPA channel. Migrate away from SPA to any other channel, Evocamd stops, CCcam starts. Migrate between any channels except SPA, CCcam continues to run as per normal, Evocamd remains stopped.

Rough as guts, but resolves the immediate problem.
