Default NBN television frequency for Gold Coast

    Hello All.

I've got a dvb-t card in a linux box and I'm able to tune to all of the expected channels from the Mt Tamborine transmitter except for NBN.

Does anyone know the frequency, fec, guard-interval etc for NBN from the Mt Tamborine transmitter?

I've tried using the scan command and it finds everything but NBN. The initial tuning file I used was dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/au-GoldCoast with this entry :
    # NBN (UHF 68)
    T 809500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE

    Thanks,
    Dan.

The problem is most likely that NBN Ch 68 Mt Tambourine has an offset frequency... 809.625 MHz

Try entering that frequency manually, as some tuners won't find it automatically.

Bandwidth for all Australian DVB-T transmissions is 7 MHz

I have read that the Brisbane TV stations (ABC, 7, 9, 10, & SBS) broadcast at about 1.25kw from mount Tambourine,

& NBN, NRN, NEN etc broadcast with only about 650w, from mount Tambarine

could it be that NBN is below the Cliff Edge, & not locking on to the scan,

    just a thought

OSIRUS and mtv, I think you're both correct.

I changed the frequency to 809.625 and increased the timeout on locking and tuning the signal. Problem is now fixed.

    Thanks!
