Default White Cards What type are they?

I have been hearing alot about white cards, everybody seems to have them these days. What type of card is it? Is it the same as the old silver cards? or are they different, what chipset and memory do they have? are they the 1024?

    Could someone please assist.

There is currently a few different flavours of 'white' cards going around at the moment:

    1) "Gamma" cards - these were brought in around sept 2007 when a certain group released public keys for a* which got killed off within 24 hrs. If you were to google Gamma cards, I'm sure you could find the specs. These are still popular overseas, but pretty much useless here in Australia.

    2) "White" cards - more a slang term I guess for cards that are white in appearance that you can buy off a seller. These come preprogrammed for specific providers. Little is known as to what sort of card it actually is, all that is known is the fact that they work, and give you pictures depending on which provider you're after.

I have even heard of places like Jaycar selling 'white' cards' which are eithier titanium or gold cards, but these are just white in colour - certainly not gamma cards.

There are already plenty of info and posts about this.

I suggest to spend sometime reading through this and other forums.

As far as answers to your questions, from what I can see this is still a big unknown.
