Default ATI Saphire X1950 Pro work on agp 4x?

I haven't posted on this forum for a while...kinda miss it. Anyway I wanna upgrade the video card and the motherboard supports agp 4X, but this video card is agp 8X. Would it still be fine? Thanks.

Most 8X cards will work back to 4X check the spec's out in the card manual or web.

hmm, I've checked some reviews online, nothing says it does support. But from what I've heard other video cards does back support, not sure this though.
