ps2 90002 no logo after turning on

hi,

I've just install a modbo 4 v1.99 on a 90002.
It work for a day, now it's not playing anything, neither original/backup.
so i took the chip out, still same thing, when turn on with original game, disk will spin but there's no logo. Just with a black screen after the blue cloud.
any help would be appreciated.

Look for solder bridges. The BIOS points (MNOPQRTUVW) are probably OK as you can boot to the cloud. Use gootwick brand solder-wick for best results.

Check fuses too.

Is the laser head seeking or trying to focus?

also check the cx point is not damaged and the y is not bridged
