    Yes, if the flash drive/sd card has fast transfer rates. It will not
    let you use anything, vista has a minimun spec for readyboost.
    The idea is that a compatible flash drive/sd card is faster than using
    the hdd (pagefile)

    trying a 4gig toshiba one now.

    Only $12 at local harvey norman.
