Grab the latest version of ULaunchElf boot cd/dvd and burn a copy -> see

Grab the latest version of SMS Player and put it on your thumbdrive -> see

Insert ULaunchElf boot cd/dvd and power up.

Navigate to SMS Player Elf and execute it.

Play your avi, mp3, jpg etc

Or load free MC-boot onto the PS2 memory card, look for the version that has ULaunch, HDload, SMS etc built in.

    No more loading disks

Best thing I ever did to the PS2.

If you can't find it or need help give me a yell.

The best way to go about this is to go out and buy a new PS2 memory card and put the new one in slot A and move the old one with your saved games to slot B.

Then go here and use this guide

Download the "noobie package" as it has all the files loaded already for you.

If you are still having problems let me know as I still have a CD image already made up somewhere that I can give you.

To not use the PS2 CD drive at all you will still need to install a hard drive in the unit. Search Ebay for PS2 network adapters. ( Mine cost $55.00 ) You did say you have the FAT PS2? You can then load all the games onto the PS2hard drive from the PS2 CD drive or via PC.

Then you can rest and not have CD's laying all around the place or kids saying Dad this CD want load anymore. :-)

As for a web cam I don't know much about that, look up Itoy.

I was just looking at the instructions and it looks like you need a "retail" disc, where abouts do you get these from, hoow much are they etc.. ? Can you do it without an "official" disc ?

If there too expensive it's probably better to put a chip in.

You dont need a retail disc to do this anymore, that was the old way.
