Hi all,
Spent a few days trying to sort this out and am getting nowhere,.. thought I'd throw it out here for some help.
I'm trying to setup a newcs using a JayCar reader on my WinXP PC. The client I'm testing with is CCcam v2.0.5 running on a clone D500S trying to connect to newcs v1.18 running my WinXP.
The error I'm getting is:
[ 23:03:04 ] [ Newcamd:10110 ] Can't decrypt client msg, rejecting!
I have connectivity between the Dream and the PC both ways - have verified with telnet connections,.. to the Dream and then telnetting back to the newcamd port that's managed by newcs.
I've tried various versions of newcs, all giving the same or similar behaviour.
v1.31 and v1.50 both give:
des_decrypt: bad checksum ?
[ 21:48:19 ] [ Newcamd:10110 ] Can't decrypt client msg, rejecting!
The newcs.xml file I'm using with the v1.18 version is below:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<newCSconfig>
<readers name="Phoenix">
<device>
<name>Phoenix Interface</name>
<type>phoenix</type>

</newcamdserver>
</newCSconfig>
and my one liner in CCcam.cfg is:
Code:
N: 192.168.1.10 10110 user1 pass1 01 02 03 04 04 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
This is all local LAN stuff.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim.....
