I like that one until the two party poopers above mentioned the gears weren't moving, now I can't seem to look at it the same way . I suppose that blue gear around the "m" is the Admin section of the said company , out of sync/mesh with the rest.

LOL, thats a classic, I looked at it and went "Chunk" because i think thats the sound it would make if it tried to move!

Guess its a test to spot any one who understands how gears work because they wont be employed by the company which may be a problem in the "service" section

um... whats wrong with them gears? They all go 'round and 'round around the 1st gear... kinda like how earth revolves around the sun

No they won't, the second and third will oppose each other.
Kinda like how an inert object just sits there :P
At least until the motor burns out and catches fire, or sends cogs flying.
    It's a safety hazard really.

Look again... what you say can only occur if gears 2 & 3 don't mesh.

If 1 goes clockwise, 2 goes anticlockwise, then look at the effect on 3. Gear one will push it anticlockwise but 2 will push it clockwise.

Thus you get nowhere if you are gear three and its all locked up.

maybe i shoudl explain this further to you so called technical experts

ok, you got a shaft through gear 1 and it rotates clockwise. then you have gear 2 and 3 revolving around gear 1 whitel it rotates. whats so hard about that?

Nerd, the gears are all locked together. They cannot turn

When you look at it, dont just look at 2 gear mesh points, but look at the third contact point at the same time.

i think Nerd is saying they could all spin together as if welded as one. would be a little out of balance - and pointless

Nah thats not what he said, note that he points about that gear 2 and 3 revolve around gear1, they cannot possibly revolve (turn) in this configuation.

One point must be unmeshed to turn.

On second thoughts i should have left him wondering. More fun

crazy's right, gears 2 & 3 is revolving around gear 1 as if it was stuck to it ... they are not rotating on a shaft or anything... I dont think this is funny anymore getting quite tedious
