It is my understanding you would only need to do this for the 500 & 500+ as the 600, 7000 (not sure about this one though as have not tried it on AD), 7020 & 7025+ by default should already be there in your AD and pam not required.Originally Posted by Windy

I am not aware of any images coming with the nss or nscd services installed which will be required for them to hook into and authenticate via AD or even auth via NSS if the AD server was running services for unix.
