Tevion LCD TV AX-37LHD1
Purchased last year....
Having trouble on the HD channels such as TEN HD.
I have to turn the volume up, but when I get to the ‘normal’ channels I have to turn the volume down.
I also now have another problem with the SBS channels all have no sound at all. Pictures are great not a problem........ I have pressed the sound button
To ensure that the sound is either digital or mono...... to see if this would work with no luck.
What do you guy’s suggest that I do?
Is there any software I can upload into the TV - to correct this problem?

If your still in the warranty period, call the number for service. Was it sold by Aldi or another outlet?

was sold by Aldi, but the idea of sending it back is a nightmare!!
Hence why I have posted thread here.
I have emailed the service company Tempo Australia and have had a single response, when questioned about the TV i.e. model number etc. I had gladly provided this information and now I have no response at all.
To call them again as I had initially took forever on hold like 18 minutes and this was just to leave a message!
So it seems this is the right area to perhaps discuss or solve the issue.
Sorry if my reply sounded abrupt,I didnt mean it too.
Asking questions here is what Austech is all about and getting an answer that might help you save sending it back was a good idea, But it is under warranty.
I personaly have had no reason to return anything to Aldi but a friends LCD died (Tevion from Aldi) and while it wasnt fast, he returned it,got it back, still no good so got a refund of the money.
I do really suggest you again try to contact them by both email and phone but in each case, clearly state whats happened so far and make it very clear if they dont respond in a reasonable time, your next call will be to Consumer Affairs.
I am thinking this way would ensure that if the devise is stuffed, you can get a refund but if you try to 'fix' it yourself, they can refuse a refund and I see no reason why you should loose out on a defective product.
Good luck.
