    Default Finding a mates IP

    I have a static ip from tpg, but my mate has optus and his ip changes at will, and we want to find a way to keep me updated with his IP when it changes.

    Is there a program about that can make his computer email me when his IP changes. Or someone able to write a script that can do it.

    I know of DynDNS and a few others but we wanted to keep away from using those.

    I don't know of any way other than DYNDNS .

    Several friends use DynDNS and are very happy with the service.
