Tecom Keyswitch or remotes

Hi have been trying to program Zone 1 on a Tecom to a keyswitch zone to arm / disarm
area 1 by a remote momentary contact on zone 1


i had it doing all areas but only want it to do area 1

I have the following
Area set for for O/C reports in Area 1 in Communication options and panel sending o/c reports to CMS by normal users

Option 5 Alarm groups
dont require time zones
used Alarm Group 14 specified by Tecom for Area 1
Assigned Alarm group to area 1
Alarm group assigned to usera according to tecom manual =not relevant )
Prompt with list of areas = not relevant
Can user activate K/p Durress = reelevant
Reset System Alarms = Yes
Disable Auto deisolate = no
Arm & Reset only = yes
Auto Isolate unsealed inputs = no
Forced Arming when inputs unsealed = yes
Prevent Forced disarm = No
modem access = not relevant
user menu options = not relevant
time zone = not required

Inputs Install menu 1
Zone 1
Input type 6 rea Control Input momentary
Enter Alarm Group number = 14
rest of list ireelevant according to manual

any ideas what i am doing wrong

Hi tastech...Go to alarm group 14 options tick user alarm group and save your done.

You might want to change "Arm & Reset only = yes" to a "No" if you need to disarm.

unfortunately tried both options no go

was using Challengher Version 8 Alarm Control with Keyswitches AN12
tp program
And tonight the Tecom Data Area on website not loading so am at a loss

Hi Tastech. I noticed that in the options above you said that a timezone wasn't required. Remember that alarm groups always need a timezone. Put timezone 0 into the timezone field and you may have more luck.

Fyi, setting user alarm group doesn't make any difference if the AG isn't going to be assigned to a user.
