    Default 6110 Nav Speed Camera

    There was a thread before the crash of 2007 on how to load a file to the Nokia 6110 nav which had the speed cam locations across Aust. I have the file but cant remember the process on the install.
    Anyone know a site that has the info?

    i found this on another forum try it

    here
    1. Connect your phone to your computer via USB to the PC Suite
    2. Open "My Computer->Nokia Phone Browser->Memory Card"
    3. Create a folder called "Documents" and dump the LMX Speed Camera file in there
    4. Disconnect the phone from the computer
    5. Press the "Menu" button on the phone
    6. Navigate to "Settings->Data Mgr.->File Mgr->Memory Card->Documents"
    7. Highlight the LMX Speed Camera file and open it
    8. The LmkMsgViewer will open the file automatically for you
    9. Options->Save->All Landmarks
    10. This will import all the Speed Camera Landmarks into your GPS navigation software on the phone
    11. Back all the way out of this program and Exit it
    12. Press the "Menu" button on the phone
    13. Navigate to "Applications->Landmarks"
    14. Press right to move over to the Categories
    15. Make a new Category called "Speed Cameras" (or whatever you so do choose)
    16. Press left to move back to the "abc" menu
    17. "Options->Mark/Unmark->Mark * all"
    18. "Options->Add to category->Speed Cameras" (unless you called it something else)
    19. This part will take a few minutes, so make sure that no other programs are open and let it run it's course. The speed camera's will now be in their own category when you boot up the GPS naviation sofware from now on.

    Thanks to both BillyGoat for the file and shane33 for the instructions. It seems to have installed ok. I just picked a camera and selected it to show on map and it showed it. Will try when on the road to see how it works.

    Thanks Shane33 thats it.
    I had done it on my 6110nav last year but I couldnt remember how to do it again on a mates phone.
    I only had the file.
    Joezep I also have some Audio files for the cameras that came with it.
    I will upload shortly.

    I find it works great on my phone. You can set the distance from cam for the audio/warning to go off.

    when you open your gps on the phone, goto options and then search i can see all the camera maps under my landmarks, when i highlight one of them and choose show map, it shows up on an empty screen.

    You can put the audio files anywhere and then select which one you want to use n the landmark settings
    for thos having a BLANK screen try Zooming in or out with the # or * key on you phone
    good luck
    BIG THANKS TO BILLYGOAT FOR THE FILE
    & SHANE FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS
