XBOX 360 Region Free

Desparation has driven me to post this question is it possible to make the 360 region free by way of mod chip. I am sick of waiting for the Australian release of the game ROCK BAND and to import it is looking like the only way to get it.Unfortunately the US version of the game is region locked to the US. Will a mod chip get me around this problem or am i doomed to wait as they still havent announced the release date yet.

No. The units are still region locked to the Pal games after modding them, with the exception of the short list of games which are region free.

So how would importing a US 360 go do i need any voltage convertors or will my power brick for my Aus 360 run it ok like with most laptops do?

Hi there is a way to play it on a PAL australia console.Buy a infectus 2 modchip and timing attack pcb connect the infectus to your NAND flash get the cpu key alter the key vaults change the region and your done and then you can play it on your aus console..

yeah FTO also is there anywhere in NSW i can take a 360 PRO to have that done? and have you seen any that have had it done? ie, it doesn't screw anything does it? otherwise, where can you buy the chip and PCB??

Unless you have a really old unit which hasnt been updated, I think you will find that the timing attack doesnt work anymore, so its going to be a pointless event.
