Unfortunatley a Kid cracked it in a few hours.

If I find it elswhere will post.

Get yourself a hardware filter/firewall such as a Netgear FVS318.

in it you specify the keywords to block...like cock,****,pussy, teen pussy, prick etc

Hardware is the way to go, you get what you pay for.

    (nice test eh?)

i suggest monitoring the internet traffic this will let and just let them know when you find something. I have a firewall (ipcop) that dose that.

    TerminatorX.v2.0

this will stop it , i have it here and works a treat.you just need to sit down read the instructions then read them again and away you go its not as simple as installing and walking away.

very similar to z's method only software based as his is better as its hardware based.

yeah...the hardware method is better but costs money.

If money is an issue then Fandtm66 you are spot on, great program.

I guess he just wants to protect the children, not himself from porn. So HW method will be a bitch to disable and enable when required!

why would it be you assign the pc with a fixed ip address and then within the hardware assign the blocking to the ip .

But in all reality if its a bitch to do that then you don't think enough of the kids ( not having a go at you personally)

nah...in the hardware solution setup you can specify an IP on the LAN for the administrator, which passes all the porn without filtering.

A bit like a DMZ zone for a common router

Another option takes some work on your behalf but is the most effective. Sit down with the kids and tell them what is good and bad. Tell them what the consequence is for going to those types of sites. Install some monitoring software and keep an eye on the logs. It takes some work but you end up installing a value system into the kids.
