Thanks
Anyone notice on the new transponder freq that NASA's signal is down a little?
I have plate in, getting AFN (4174L) at 93%
and Nasa at 57%.
Used to get it around 65%+
Intelsat 701 is about due for replacement I think.

I had to fine tune my dish recently to eliminate pixelation on Nasa. Not sure what signal strength it was before but only 52% now.
Intelsat 701 launched 22 Oct 1993, definitely time for an upgrade.
As of December 2008, Intelsat has announced several upcoming satellite launches.
Intelsat 18 to replace I701 @ 180 East. Payload - 40 C/24 Ku
Just went outside then to peak it. Had to move the dish elevation + plate in LNB. Now instead of 52% I have it 57%. No pixelation.
