in my opinion erhan, if you want to give it permanent red lights try and heat it up to running temp and cool it down as often as possible, I rekon thats the go hey....

members here gave you the advice you asked for. these members are the best arround (well nearly as good as me) at fixing xbox 360 consoles. they have advised you to send the console in to microsoft.

you come back saying it may be fixed then you are given more advice to send the console in.

WHY WOULD YOU THEN COME BACK AND ASK IF THEY THINK YOU SHOULD SEND IT IN??????????????

Hey mick & poison, when i called M$ they would except the console, i had a argument with them over the phone then called them back pretending to be someone else, i told them it has a intermittent 3 light problem. They excepted it and i got them to give me a ref #.

What a coincidence Erhan, the console i purchased from you sometime ago is doing exactly the same thing as your current unit (worked great for starters then died).

I have contacted microsoft to get it repaired but because you originally registered it i am having a problem getting microsoft to cover it under warranty or even recognise i am the legitimate owner.

Looks like you are doing something to the consoles Erhan. Are you using them in extreme conditions? playing them while they are in a closed cabinet?
lying them on the carpet? moving them while they are turned on?

using them in direct sunlight or infront of heat source?

if Erhan rings M$ and tells them he sold the console to you, they can sign ownership over so that you can get fixed under warranty.

Mick i brought a few off ebay but not direct, i messaged a guy who was selling parts and he told me he had 4 xboxs that he want to get rid of. So i brought em all.

Darren, i remember you mate... if you call xbox and tell them you are the own now they will fix it i think. But not under warranty as it's not the red lights. I think Mick knows more about that.

erhan. I think you need to call MS and transfer the machine to justolder. Talk with him via PM and get the serial number and his real name.

Justolder can just say he gets intermittent red lights and he will get covered by warranty.

NO you need to call mate, no point Darren calling, they may think he stole it etc(when obviously he didn't'). The only person that can transfer it is the current registered owner, and that is you my friend.

Erhan, my problem is i get no picture or sound and after about 30 seconds i get the 3 red lights of death.

Spoke to microsoft and they were able to tell me they would cover it under warranty provided i can get you to contact them and tell them that i am now the current owner.

I will pm you my details they also asked me that once this is done that i must confirm your details as well to prove i did not steal console, if you could give me your full details as well in the pm that would be great.
