    Default Clone HDD

    Whats the best flavor of software to clone every thing from a small HDD to a big one ???
    And easy too

    use Norton ghost. make a Ghost floppy boot up disk, boot the PC and choose what you want to do.

    I use ghost.
    Depending on the manufacturer of the drive they have software on their website that does it easily

    Seagate's Diskwizard ..works well .. for Maxtor and seagate HD's

    I switched to it from Ghost32 after it told me that copying a 750Gb disk to a 1Tb was going to take 72hrs.

    Clonezilla did it in an hour

    It might scare some people because it's linux, but all you have to do is burn the iso image and then boot the burnt CD, then follow the on screen prompts. It couldn't be easier.
