looks like the ones that are gone are all the vertical ones
do you have a dual lnb does it connect to a multi switch are the units connected via loop through from one to the other
Hi all
After I flashed my dreambox image from Pli Helenite to Pli iolite, I lost all the FBox channels & also all the Aurora Channels.
I used dreamup to flash the image. The Pli Helenite image was installed by the seller.
My lnb settings are
10700 for all 3, Hi/Lo H/W
Any suggestion?

Thanks fandtm666 for your help.
I think u are 100% spot on with ONLY vertical ones which I didn't even think of.
Anyway, I don't have dual lnb but I am using "splitter - the 1 u can get from KMart that allows u to connect up to 4 set-top boxes to a single dish".
I have 2 dreamboxes. The master dreambox has its lnb output to the provider box. Without using the provider box, I am not able to get any signal on the other dreambox (slave) if the master server is on standby mode. The provider box only needs to be on the standby mode.
there in lies the problem , i bet the provider unit is on a horizontal and that is why it did not scan up the vertical. The only way is to either
install a dual lnb and multi switch ( the one you have from kmart i would return and get money back )
or
switch all units to the same polarity to watch so if you wanted tv1 all on H if you wanted FBO then all on v until you get the dual lnb and multi switch
Could you watch vertical on one and horizontal on the other ? ( before this problem I mean )
Beaten by fandtm666 , thats what I was getting at.
If thats the case you can put them all on a vertical channel and do a rescan and the missing vertical channels should reappear.
Thanks again. U two experts have solved my problem. Without using the provider box, I am able to re-scan & get all the missing channels. That solves my puzzle.
It would be great if I don't have to use the provider box. I am currently need the provider box on standby mode otherwise the slave box will not getting any signal if the master box is on the standby mode.
