    Default D2SSUN 1.35A Modchip Issues...

    hey guys

Ive run into a 10foot high brick wall....

Ive had 4 Wii's to get done tonight, i quoted customers pricing with d2sun modchips.(Ive installed wiikey2's in all of them now so there not a problem) but id really like to nut this out.

In all the wii's none of the d2suns booted up (i tried 3 different chips in total and tried at least 2 d2suns in each seperate wii).

All i got was a blinking red light. The drive didnt spin up or even turn on.
When i discounted the 3V however the green light came and drive spun up but it didnt read any backups.

Im 110% confident on my install everythings done very nicely, ive tried alternate power/ground points and also alternate clock points. Still the issue.

Wiikey2 worked fine first go like always.

Anyone know what the issue is?

Ps. All jumpers were set correctly consoles were all d2c/d2e consoles.
Even played with all the jumpers on the last one to try and get it to boot but it wouldnt.

I had that problem last year , for me it was jumpers , bloody things went back to front lol
However I also got that same issue on a D2E , exactly the same symptoms and this was a bout 2 weeks ago . Funny thing is the chip worked fine in a D2C
I still have no idea on what was wrong

Had a no drive spin issue on a D2E....shortened the gnd wire & put 'K' wire as were wiring diagram(originally had it running off the resistor)....might be worth a shot Oz & Urban
