They say Verbatim DVD-R are the best. Ive used them and Ritek and both have not missed a beat.

He probably didn't realise it was Harvey Norman.

I might try buying one of those lense cleaners. My Wii used to read my discs fine, but lately gives me grief!

I've only recently had my Wii modified and I was advised to use Verbatim at very low speed however a mate of mine sent me a 250Gb HDD loaded with ISO's and I decided to try some other options.

I started burning at 8 speed in my ASUS DRW-2014L1T using
and haven't yet struck a problem.
All have so far played 1st time, everytime.

Agree with all above. Personally, I've stuck with Memorex 16x DVD-R Printables, always burning at 4x. I have had zero disc read errors. Also, JB hifi usually have good specials on Memorex spindles.

Slower speed is not always better....had a situation where a customer was burning at 2x & had alot of issues, then after I recommend they try 4x, all was good.

    Hi M8,

    I use LG DVD-R 1-16x Printable x50 Pack 4.7GB

    Never missed a beat.

    Good value for money too.

I use nero and burn at x4 speed.

    Cheers

Grabbed a spindle of Verbatim today, just noticed that I got DVD+R though. I guess I'll have to go back this week.
