    Hey Mate how about having a look at this Open Networks 824RLW 4 port. I think this might cover what you are looking for.

    I spent ages on the Whirlpool forums to work out what would be good for exactly the same needs. I ended up going with the Open 824RLW 4 port as well. It's basically a rebadged Billion. Some there preferred the Billion, but I didn't see the need to spend the extra for the brand name.

    It's cheap too. I got mine here;

    Voip dial plans can be a bit of a pain to set up, but work well once it's done. There's lot's of info on whirlpool though. I'm using Internode and mynetfone but you should have no probs on iinet.

    I see that is wireless G. Any thoughts regarding wireless N versus G if you have several walls to go through?

    Can't see why you would pay $200+ for the same items (rebadged) you can get for $97

    F1PI242EGau....

    I have considered this as its the one iinet currently sell..

    BUT I have read that it has WiFi problems (poor signal strenght) & if thats the case for $279 I want something that all its "features" work 100%.

    they used to use/supply the Netgear DG834GV but went to Belkin "as it looks better" was basically what I was told just last week..

    maybe it was a firmware problem.. maybe not , but i want a unit that works as its expected to..

    I have returned 3 Netgear units ( same model ) that were supplied by Engin. They have also stopped supplying them due to their lack of reliability so dont get one. Its a pity because the earlier Netgear stuff was great.

    Same. I gave my DG834G to a mate it has been running 24/7 for years now. Unbreakable. Thats why I was so disappointed with the all in one. Drop outs galore , crap range and within about 6 months dont work at all

    the iinet belkin is a troubled machine with firmware issues. get a billion, the user interface is heaps better if you need to tinker & open ports etc.
