    hello there
I have a MEDIAGATE MG-35 that is working fine for the last 4 years, no problems at all.

Aboulaly: there are some new ones that can act as PVR as well, have a look at the PC casegear website, under media players section. my next upgrade will be eather MediaGate 800 OR the Noontec GV-3732.

there is a new software for the NDAS DEVICES, speed improvment and better managmnet from PC (ximeta_ndas_3.43) from Ximeta website, works as a treat, with Xp and WINDOWS 7.

    cheers

To tell you the truth, I still haven't bought any media player, I am just watching everything on my laptop.

After reading lots and visiting many sites have just placed an order it does seem the best value for money would be good if you could stream radio of the net but can live with that.

even an xbox 360 is up there with the best as it can run hdmi or rgb aswell as being able to stream straight from the pc, it also plays most files and update's with any new file type's avaliable.also you cant beat the compatibility with windows. ps3 will do the same but has blueray. and u can hook up an external hdd if the hdd that comes with it isnt big enough.
