are foxtel iq boxes worth anything?
i mean would there be any reason for someone too buy one?
ive cut my foxtel off and theyre billing me for the iq box so im wondering if i can recoup some cash from it.
not sure if its illegal too sell or not as theyre making me pay for it so yeh....

1. They are not worth a cracker. You can't CS to them or anything. There are no cracks or hacks you can do with them. Without the legit card thats married to them and paid up in the slot, it won't work.
2. The boxes remain the property of fox. Much like a beer keg or a gas bottle.
If you can't give it back they bill you something stupid like $500~$1000

Without an active paid card/subscription, the box is a paperweight.

If one does pay the 'non-return' fee, does that mean the box then belongs to the customer?

why would you want to pay that much for the non return fee when you can get some other nice box for that much money that will do so much for you

The DM500s is a great little sub $200 decoder. Exactly what it can do varies acording to the software you load on to it and how you configure it.
