    Default Status CA ??

I have been playing with an old Galaxy card ver 1.2 have put details on it and getting these status reports from different cards. I now would like to refresh my thoughts and ask am I right in saying that.

Irdeto CA status 30 is Irdeto 1

Irdeto CA status 16 is Irdeto 2

If so any one know why I would be getting status 16 from an old Galaxy card?

    Cheers Badass

    badass...

I can assure you that the info Abode gave you is correct...it may not have been what you are looking for though.

He is telling you, that if your receiver flashes these messages on the screen, then that is the problem.

3 cards with the same details give 3 different status codes. I have now got one working but not sure why. Is there somewhere I can download the status codes for reference?

What type of box are you getting these errors on ?

All of those will get these messages from time to time...
E04:insert smart card - be sure that you have inserted your ca card in the right way
    E06: smart card failure
    E07: checking smart card:
E16/E19/E34: service is currently scrambled: your card probably is not registered or you haven’t used it for a while and you need to reactivate your card.
