I will give it a go .
I dont use mine as a PVR as its a dog and only use it as a set-top box now . Gone down the HTPC route as I wanted some thing reliable .

For anyone with one of these boxes...The easiest way to upload firmware to this box if it has not been covered in this forum yet is to upload your .stb file to your usb stick....put usb stick in your box,go to menu, then go down to storage,across to data transfer...pick your file from usb stick and click ok...firmware will start to upload...do not power off at all...job is done when said completed ..Good Luck

Just remember to save all your channel data first, because it may all be lost with a firmware update. (unless you don't mind scanning/entering it all again).

Updated mine from 1.07 yesterday, no backup but all went well. Not that I've noticed any advantages yet.

Haven't noticed any glitches decoding HD yet since update using Orange.

Why is this? Have you changed anything? There is a newer version firmware 1.10 that was recently released.

1.10 worked great for a few days now glitches ( goes scrambled for a few seconds ) even on SD every ten minutes
or so. Nothing else changed on my end and IQ2 works fine.

Maybe try reflashing with 1.07 and see what happens.

Am wondering if someone could help me please?
Have purchased a Strong srt4910 box and have added the latest firmware.
Have scanned with blue f.tel card but every 10 min or so picture freezes then says scramble picture.
After a few seconds picture comes back ok.
Any help greatly appreciated

Has anyone noticed a change in the volume on the last firmware update.. I have to increase the volume by at least another 50% since the upgrade

I have the srt-4910 running a legit fox blue card, and am having problems, every 10-15 mins it says scrambled channel. i am running the latest software but i think it was better with the earlier version. any ideas why it is has these glitches?
