I would have thought about 50v or more ought to do it
I am playing with old -MOSCAUST- cards and putting old Goldie details on them. I have done one that was all ready kill even ATR was gone and I got it working but need a way of killing off or deleting HSN & HMK on the cards it does not matter if ATR get kiklled. Can anyone tell me a way of doing this?

I wonder how many post would be on this site if people only posted when they could help rather than just getting their post count up?
I'm serious.
You want the card dead, right?
It doesn't matter it it kills the card and ends up with no ATR you said.
Well +50VDC ought to do it.
If I wanted to be smart, I would have suggested 240Vac, but I reckon that would leave burn marks & blow the chip out of the plastic wafer. +50 should blow it & hopefully leave no visable sign.
If you don't like the answer, maybe you should clarify the question better with what your trying to achive.

What version card?
I am playing with old galaxhy 1.2 and 1.6 1.9 cards want to kill and or erase HSN & HMK
For 1.2's use the CardCopy section in Cardblaster, I reloaded one the other night.
For 1.6's and 1.9's, from memory, you had to use FMCard, haven't reloaded one of them for years.
Here's a copy of CardBlaster 0.93 SE:
Here's a copy of FMCard v4.0.0.0:
I have all of them and they wont do what I want thanks any way.
They wont if you just run them and watch. The card needs to be pulsed. That is to say that the card needs to be pushed and pulled in and out of the phoenix rapidly whilst the program is in killing mode. A process we used to call "wanking" in the IRD1 days.
I have a do-all programmer that has a switch for this...it electronically pulses the card and zeros it.

Maybe unless the card ATR is already dead so the program wont see it ????
Still think 50 volts would be too much i recon 12 volts would do the trick as i have killed plenty and not on purpose LOL
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
And here's everything you ever wanted to know about the doall programmer. rev2.
I've made a couple of them. Has a card killing timer built in. All explained in the docs.
For killing and reanimating IRD1 cards these things really are the ducks guts. I have a few different programmers with pulse buttons and such...zac4 springs to mind...but the do-all is easily the best.
I have done 1.2,6,8,9 at various stages with no problem at all. Rebuilding 1.8/1.9 cards is a little more difficult, but using the cardblaster method of rebuilding you can't really go wrong.
Not much use for them these days though, except for learning I guess.

Try the reanimation section in Cardwizard1115....that zeros cards well with a doall...
