its not my alarm im an alarm installer this person wont upgrade to a more beter and newer alarm so this is why i need to get a programming manual i have a eprom programmer some were in my shed so if some one has a manual could you message me thanks.

yep i have a programmer, printer and chips....The 908 is a good sturdy system just not keypad programmable like the new Bosch panels
sins were talking about this alarm dos anyone know what dip switch 1 dos in the alarm the manual sez future use what dos it mean because im an ex alarm installer and iv neva known that it dos
can any one help me i have a 908 to but the alarm gos off by itself i changed the bakup bat but still same i am selling and want it to work or is there a cheap one i can replaced it with

Sounds like you have a Tamper Switch fault, just call a local licensed security tech and they should be able to fix it for you. Average service calls cost around $100.00 depending on what area and state you live in.Originally Posted by rock

Its the call for service switch. It summons a tech to fix what you can't.
Sw1 ON for 908C & 908D - Disables KS input
Sw1 OFF for 908C & 908D Enables KS input
Sw1 ON for 908L Inverts the zone Outputs 1 to 8 on a 16 channel Output Board
Sw1 OFF for 908L he zone outputs 1 to 8 on a 16 channel Output Board remains as standard High going Low ie 12 volts going to 0 volts.
my friends work used to have a 908, which was a giant keyswitch with 2 lights on it. but there was a keypad downstairs.
908 has a code pad on the front of the box the 905 has the keyswitch which is 22mm in diameter with the words Stay and Away with LEDs as indicators
The Remote Keyswitch plate has a 22mm Keyswitch wit 2 LEDS on it for Stay & Away.
22mm is a standard size for a keyswitch
actually, may have been a 905. the codepad was actually for the posties next door. but the box is huge.
