    Default no sbs on humax settop

    here in spencer gulf area (sa) humax settops lost sbs in the last few days...
    non compliant box?
    tried rescan, tried factory defaults, abc and local commercials ok
    any ideas

    check with your neighbours and see if they have SBS digital. If they do then recheck all your connections unless they are all brand new but even so, go check.
    You havent plugged anything in extra or removed something, DVD,VCR, splitters,extra TV etc???
    If that dont work, see if you can get your hands on anther STB and try that.

    SbS had a thing / message scroll on the screen a few weeks back reminding viewers to rescan their set top boxes as they were realigning thier signal for the release of the HD stations.
    I would have thought a rescan would fix, but looks like you have another issue.

    Mate, I havent seen that message here but I do know that SBS has an offset on one local translator.
    Instead of being XXX.500, its XXX.625. I only had a problem with one SD/TV as its Chinese and it defaults on UHF to their 6 Mhz spacings.
    Everything else however just scanned and locked on.
    Digital has been here 3 years or more so I wonder in this case if that rescan was for areas newly changing over?

    What about doing the settings manually for SBS?
